PROFILE

Carol A. Krawczyk, Landscape Architect, Inc., has more than 24 years’ experience as a landscape architect in the public and private sector.

Krawczyk specializes in research-based design. To help create projects which respond to both the clients’ needs and contextual design, she uses current research databases to locate the most up-to-date articles, books and references in areas of design. Using this type of information as the foundation, she then builds thoughtful, informed designs.

Public Service Krawczyk has served on the Kennett Square Borough Planning Commission since 1999 and is Co-Chair of the Delaware Section of the PA/DE Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. She also chairs committees within her community as well, helping to provide guidance and technical expertise.

Since 1996, Krawczyk has taught courses in landscape design, construction methods, detailing, planting design and therapeutic garden design at the University of Delaware, Temple University, Longwood Gardens Continuing Education, and the Coastal Georgia Center for Continuing Education. She has also lectured/presented research at national and regional conferences for the American Society of Landscape Architects, Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture, as well as for extension services, garden clubs, professional organizations and neighborhoods. She is available to present lectures on these topics for your organization.
